I'm a CPA based in Washington DC and I've consulted with some of the most well known companies in  this area as well as in other cities.  I've got nearly 20 years of experience with Excel.  In that time I've designed everything from simple accounting worksheets to very complex automated financial models, reporting systems and other applications.  I'm great at troubleshooting and fixing problems in existing worksheets too.  I automate repetitive tasks and make navigating and combining multiple spreadsheets a whole lot easier. I use Excel as as stand-alone product or integrate it with other MS Office products such as Access, Word or PowerPoint.  I also connect it to enterprise databases such as SQL Server and Oracle to create powerful business tools used in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, estimating, proposal pricing and many other functional areas.

My expertise is VBA, Visual Basic for Applications, the powerful programming language that is built into all of the Office products and SQL, the language used to talk to databases.  I combine this with many years of practical business experience to develop powerful automated solutions that do in seconds what previously took hours to do manually, and achieve far greater accuracy and reliability.
